The idea for Fat Cat Bins Rental came from seeing how stressful and wasteful moving could be. After going through a few moves ourselves, it became clear that there had to be a better, more sustainable way to pack and transport belongings. That’s when the concept of renting reusable moving bins was born — a simple, eco-friendly solution that helps people move with ease while reducing waste. Recognizing this opportunity, we decided to bring the idea to life right here in Arnprior and Renfrew County.
Our Story and Love for Arnprior
My husband and I have called Arnprior home since the spring of 2013, and from the moment we arrived, we knew this was where we were meant to be. Arnprior has that perfect small-town charm — the kind of place where neighbours wave as they pass by, where people still hold doors open, and where community truly means something.
We were drawn to Arnprior for its welcoming atmosphere and the sense of connection that fills every street. Whether it’s strolling through downtown Arnprior, visiting the local shops, or enjoying the scenic views along the Madawaska River, there’s always something special about this town. The blend of history, nature, and community spirit makes Arnprior a place unlike any other.
Living in Arnprior also means being part of the larger Renfrew County community — surrounded by beautiful towns like Renfrew, Pembroke, and Calabogie. Each has its own charm, but Arnprior will always hold our hearts. It’s where we’ve built our life, started our business, and found a community that feels like family.
